Your account on the web
What jompter.com does that the Mac app doesn't: your account and sessions, billing, licence keys, cloud usage, shared boards and the beta.
The website is where your account lives. The actual work — dictating, capturing, drawing — happens in the Mac app.
| Page | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Download the current version of the Mac app |
| Billing | Plans, subscription, invoices, promo codes |
| Licence key | Your key, and how to activate it |
| Usage | How much of your cloud allowance is left |
| Boards | Read-only view of boards you chose to sync, and share links |
| Account | Profile, password, signed-in devices |
| Beta programme | Applying for founding beta access |
Everything above needs you to be signed in. jompter.com/pricing and the blog are public.
Signing in
Email and password, or Google. If your email is not verified yet, the sign-in page says so and offers to resend the verification email.
Forgot your password? The link is on the sign-in form; you will always see the same neutral confirmation, whether or not an account exists for that address.
Signing in from the Mac app
The app does not take your password. Click Sign in in Jompter and it opens your browser at a pairing page, you authenticate there, and the browser hands a code back to the app.
If the hand-back does not happen — some browsers block the app link — the app has a Sign in with code field and a copyable pairing link. The code is valid for 3 minutes; if it expires, retry.
