Usage

How much of your cloud allowance you have used, and what happens when it runs out.

The Jompter Usage page measures cloud use only: the free Cloud trial or a Jompter Cloud subscription. Everything that runs on your Mac is unmetered here.

jompter.com/usage shows where you stand. What you see depends on how you are paying.

On a trial

A Transcribed words bar — words used against your 10,000-word cap — and the days remaining out of seven. Trials have no minute limit; the word budget is the only ceiling.

On a cloud subscription

A status line that says it in words — Plenty of usage left · Active this week · Using it a lot this week · Approaching your weekly limit · Limit reached · using your local model — then two sections:

  • Plan usage limits — the current 5-hour session window, with "Resets in X hr Y min"
  • Weekly limits — the rolling 7-day window, with the reset day and time

Your tier (Standard or Heavy) and its allowances are listed in Plans.

With neither

The Usage page with no cloud usage yet
Without a trial or a subscription there is nothing to meter.

"No cloud usage yet — start a free trial in the Jompter desktop app, or subscribe to Jompter Cloud."

What is the difference between the session and weekly limit?

The session limit covers a 5-hour window, so a burst of heavy use recovers within hours. The weekly limit covers a rolling 7 days and caps sustained use. Either one can be the one you reach first; both rows show their own reset time.

Does the Usage page show my free-tier limits?

No. The free limits on screenshots, screen recordings, boards and Remote sessions belong to the Mac app and are not metered on this page. What each limit is, and how a licence removes it, is on Plans.

Hitting a limit

Reaching a limit costs you nothing and does not stop your work. Jompter switches to the model on your Mac and carries on until the window resets. There are no overage charges.

The switch is silent, so if accuracy changes character mid-session, this page will tell you why.
