Find and activate your Jompter licence key on jompter.com, move it to another Mac, and how the 30-day device rule works.
If you bought a licence, your key is on jompter.com/billing in the Your license key card. It is masked by default — reveal it, or copy it straight to the clipboard.
If you have just bought and the card says pending, the key is still being generated. Give it a minute and refresh.
The card does not appear at all if you do not own a licence.
Activating it on your Mac
Settings → Account → License in the Mac app. Paste the key and press Enter.
The panel then shows Active, your plan, and how many activations you have used, plus:
- Upgrade to lifetime — for yearly licence holders
- Refresh license — re-check with the server
- Remove from this Mac — free the seat
Moving to another Mac
A single-seat licence can move to a different Mac at most once every 30 days.
Re-activating the Mac you have just left does not count — that is a free undo. But moving from Mac A to Mac B and then to Mac C inside a month will be refused.
If you are replacing a machine, Remove from this Mac on the old one before activating on the new one.
Upgrading yearly to lifetime
The upgrade issues a replacement key. The old one stops working, so activate the new one on each Mac.
What a licence includes
Transcription, transforms and Speak are free for everyone. A licence removes every free limit — unlimited screenshots, screen recordings, boards and Jompter Remote sessions — and works signed out. It does not include cloud processing, which needs a subscription or a beta grant. See Plans.
