Jompter Remote
Jompter Remote lets you see and control your Mac from your iPhone — check a long agent run, tap, type and dictate the next prompt from anywhere.
Jompter Remote is a separate iPhone app. It shows your Mac's screen and sends your taps back as real clicks, keystrokes and trackpad gestures — plus screen snips and dictation using the phone's microphone.
The video travels directly between your phone and your Mac. Our servers introduce the two devices and then step out; the picture never passes through them.
What you need
| Mac | Apple Silicon, macOS 13 or newer, running Jompter with Remote turned on |
| Permissions on the Mac | Screen Recording, Accessibility, and Remote input |
| iPhone | Jompter Remote — currently an open beta on TestFlight — signed in to the same account |
| Permissions on the phone | Local Network (required), Camera (to scan the QR), Microphone (for dictation) |
| Network | Both devices on the same network. Off-network works only if relaying is available |
The Local Network permission is not optional. Refusing it gives you a black screen with no error — the app can sign in and list your Macs, but the video never arrives. The onboarding explains this before iOS asks.
Where to start
What it is not
It is not a way to run Jompter's dictation on your phone alone — the transcription happens on your Mac using your Mac's models. Without a Mac reachable, the app has nothing to show.
