Jompter Docs: Mac, iPhone and web guide
How to use Jompter on your Mac, your iPhone and the web: install, dictation, screenshots, Video Prompt, the MCP server, boards, Remote, plans and troubleshooting.
Jompter turns what you say, show and record into one clean Markdown prompt for an AI coding assistant. It runs on your Mac, and — if you want it to — nowhere else: speech, text and speech synthesis can all happen on-device, offline.
There are three pieces, and you only need the first one.
The Mac app
The product. Dictation anywhere in macOS — held, or hands-free — screenshots of a region or the whole screen with annotation, screen recordings that compile into a repro, prompts that become to-dos an AI agent works through with your approval, a whiteboard an AI agent can draw on, and text read aloud in your language.
The iPhone app — Jompter Remote
See and control your Mac from your phone over your own network. Pointer, keyboard, gestures, screen snips, and dictation using the phone's microphone.
The website
Your account lives here: the download, your licence key, your subscription, your usage, and a read-only view of any boards you chose to keep in your account.

Read these four in order and you will be dictating in about five minutes.
